Connect ConnectWise RMM (Asio)

Connect the Asio-based ConnectWise RMM product and sync company, site and endpoint inventory.

This guide is for ConnectWise RMM on the Asio platform. It is not for ConnectWise Automate. Automate credentials and API addresses cannot be used with this connector. ConnectWise PSA (Manage) also has its own integration.

What Lexful reads

  • Companies and sites.

  • Platform endpoint inventory, such as device identity, operating system, IP/MAC addresses, BIOS and system details when supplied by RMM.

  • Extended hardware inventory, including disks, memory, processors and network interfaces.

Lexful reads this inventory and uses the customer/site relationships when syncing configurations. It does not deploy software, run scripts or control endpoints. Patch actions and remote-control functions are not part of this integration.

Prepare API access

  1. In ConnectWise Asio, open Integrations → API Access and choose Generate API Access.

  2. Name the credentials for Lexful. Grant read access to company/site data and platform device/asset inventory. The company-list test alone will not validate the device inventory permission.

  3. Generate and securely save the Client ID and Client Secret. Confirm the regional API host for your account with your ConnectWise administrator.

The ConnectWise Platform developer documentation describes platform API access (a ConnectWise developer sign-in may be required). Use read access for the inventory listed above.

Connect in Lexful

  1. Sign in to the intended Lexful account as an administrator. Open Platform → Integrations → Data sources.

  2. Find ConnectWise RMM and choose Connect. If it is already connected, open the existing connection instead.

  3. Enter the values below. Where the form displays https:// separately, enter the hostname and path without repeating it.

  4. Select Test Connection. Resolve any error, then select Connect ConnectWise RMM.

Lexful field

What to enter

Client Id / Client Secret

The pair generated in Asio API Access.

API URL

Your regional platform API host, listed below.

Auth Url

The same regional API host. Lexful requests tokens at /v1/token.

Regional API hosts:

  • North America: https://openapi.service.itsupport247.net

  • Europe: https://openapi.service.euplatform.connectwise.com

  • Australia: https://openapi.service.auplatform.connectwise.com

Check the first sync

The connection test checks the ConnectWise RMM company list. It does not prove that every source table is readable or that records have reached your documentation.

  1. Open the connection’s Sync logs and check that the relevant source tables finish successfully.

  2. Review Mapping for source types, statuses and other values. Save any changes.

  3. Open Data sync → Configure sync, save your primary organization, enable the customers you want, and review the available record filters.

  4. Run Sync now on Data sync, review the result, then check a sample organization and its records.

Configure mappings and data sync explains these steps in detail. Collection from the provider and syncing records into Lexful are separate stages.

If something is missing

If companies load but devices fail, check device/asset read access and site visibility. Confirm that these are Asio RMM credentials, not a Manage key pair, an Automate login or a ScreenConnect key. Initial collection may take longer for large inventories.

A successful test followed by a failed table usually means that table needs additional read access. A successful collection followed by missing records usually means organization matching, customer selection or record filters need review. Include the provider, failed table and visible error when contacting support; never include credentials.
