Connect MSP Process Password Rotation to Lexful

Use Lexful as a password-rotation destination in MSP Process, with client mapping and explicit storage policies.

MSP Process develops and operates this integration. Configure it in MSP Process to store rotated passwords in Lexful. It is separate from Lexful-managed data-source syncing.

What it does

MSP Process documents Lexful as a vault destination for password rotation. Rotated passwords are written to the matching Lexful records when the client’s rotation policy is configured to store them there. Adding credentials alone does not enable password rotation for every client.

Prepare Lexful

Sign in to your Lexful account as an administrator and open Platform → API keys. Select New key, enter a name for this integration and select Create key. Copy the Key ID and Secret from the confirmation dialog, and the Account ID from the bar above the key list.

The secret is shown only when created or regenerated. See Create and manage API keys for credential management and IP restrictions.

For accounts hosted in the US, the API base URL is https://api.us.lexful.app. If your account uses another region, confirm the correct API address with Lexful support before connecting.

Connect in MSP Process

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Security Integrations, choose Add and select Lexful.

  2. Enter an integration name, API URL, Account ID, API Key ID and Secret, then submit.

  3. Map each intended client to the correct Lexful organization.

  4. Configure the client’s rotation and vault-storage settings in MSP Process before testing a rotation.

Start with a controlled test account. Confirm the organization and destination record are correct and that the resulting credential works before expanding the policy.

Follow MSP Process’ Lexful admin setup guide and its password-rotation guide for current controls and policy behavior.

Help and troubleshooting

Check the Account ID, full Key ID, current Secret and regional API address. If you regenerate the secret, update it in the partner product. If you use Platform → IP restrictions, allow the partner’s documented outbound addresses.

Contact the partner for its setup, mappings and integration behavior; contact Lexful support for Lexful API access or account issues. Never include secrets in support messages or screenshots.
