Connect NeoAgent to Lexful

Connect NeoAgent to search Lexful documentation and configure optional agent API access.

NeoAgent develops and operates this integration. Configure it in NeoAgent using a Lexful API key; it does not create a Lexful-managed inbound data-source connection.

What it does

According to NeoAgent’s guide, documentation sync indexes documents, configurations, contacts, locations, domains and custom asset types. Its documentation index excludes password records, secret and TOTP values, and file attachments.

Optional live agent API access is separate from indexing. Review NeoAgent’s permissions and technician-approval controls before enabling credential access or writes. Index exclusions are NeoAgent behavior, not a restriction applied to the Lexful API key.

Prepare Lexful

Sign in to your Lexful account as an administrator and open Platform → API keys. Select New key, enter a name for this integration and select Create key. Copy the Key ID and Secret from the confirmation dialog, and the Account ID from the bar above the key list.

The secret is shown only when created or regenerated. See Create and manage API keys for credential management and IP restrictions.

For accounts hosted in the US, the API base URL is https://api.us.lexful.app. If your account uses another region, confirm the correct API address with Lexful support before connecting.

Connect in NeoAgent

  1. Open Integrations → Directory → Documentation and select Lexful.

  2. Enter the Account ID, API Key ID, API Key Secret and API URL, then save after validation.

  3. Review organization-to-company matching and confirm a known client’s documentation appears under the correct company.

NeoAgent documents daily sync and an initial run shortly after saving. Use its Trigger sync control when needed. Follow NeoAgent’s Lexful guide for current sync timing, exclusions and agent-access settings.

Help and troubleshooting

Check the Account ID, full Key ID, current Secret and regional API address. If you regenerate the secret, update it in the partner product. If you use Platform → IP restrictions, allow the partner’s documented outbound addresses.

Contact the partner for its setup, mappings and integration behavior; contact Lexful support for Lexful API access or account issues. Never include secrets in support messages or screenshots.
